The College Prep
High School Program

9th - 12th grade students meet Monday
through Thursday with credentialed
teachers and tutors to receive subject
specific tutoring, skills development and
engage in instruction and activities
focused on preparing for college.

We offer volunteers multiple opportunities to work with Marin City students in grades 1 – 12. Programs run afternoons and evenings, up to 5 days a week. We ask for a minimum commitment of one day/evening per week for the school year.

Extended Learning Day Program

The Extended Learning Day Program is geared towards Grades 4 – 8. Four teachers provide a culturally appropriate curriculum by grade level, using a small group instruction and project-based learning.

Evening One-on-One Program

This literacy-based program pairs Mentors-Tutors one-on-one with Grades 1 – 3 students whom they work with for the entire school year.

High School Program

The High School Program is a combination of both ELD and EP for Grades 9 – 12 students.

Bridge the Gap College Prep relies 100% on financial donations from individuals, foundations and corporations with a small percentage of funding coming from government resources. With this support, BTGCP serves more youth than any other Marin City organization and importantly, serves them over a longer period of time than any other local organization, including the schools.
